Review of Mad Max (1979) by Wes S — 10 Jan 2016
Classic movie. But was average action to me. Mel Gibson is a heroic cop. Starting there's a crazy criminal who hijack a police V8 car and the cops are in pursuit. But the cops crashes. Mel alone chase and manage to make the baddie crash.
When the law can't press charges against Tim Burns, he join back his gang led by Hugh Keays-Byrne and seek revenge against cop Steve Bisley. Hugh force Tim to burn Steve in his over turn truck. Mel has family and decide to quit the force and go on road trip.
In a small town, his wife Joanne Samuel go alone to buy ice cream and the gang want to find her trouble. She kick Hugh groin and quickly drive away and escape. The gang chase and eventually found her alone at the beach while Mel is fixing the truck.
The gang kidnap their baby and Joanne is lucky the mother save them with her shotgun. Their truck break down halfway and the biker gang kill Joanne. Mel begin his own revenge and took the super charge V8 and hunt them gang down, killing all.
Mel cuff Tim to a truck and set a petrol fire trap. He give him a saw to either saw the cuff or his ankle. It exploded and guessing he didn't escape..
