Review of Mad Hot Ballroom (2005) by Cam B — 13 Mar 2006
One of the most heart-warming documentaries in history, I suspect, where an after-school ballroom dancing competition helps troubled New York school kids make something of themselves and learn many of life's lessons along the way.
The kids are hilarious, their dancing alternating between laughable and simply stunning, and the underlying premise fun and successful. Another good big-screen doco.
