Review of Mad As Hell (2014) by Jacob M — 11 Feb 2015
Mad As Hell is a great window into the inner workings of the world's largest online news network and it's ascension. It's well paced and never stops entertaining with a healthy mix of comedy and drama throughout an interesting story.
At first it seems like the story of Cenk Uygur: an underdog fighting his way to the top and achieving the American dream... but by the end I was left with a different assessment. Cenk isn't the underdog.
He's the bully. He just happens to be on our side. Like Biff if he had a strong sense of justice.
