Review of Machine Gun Preacher (2011) by William M — 17 Mar 2012
Based on the life of Sam Childers, the movie takes us from his start to his current calling in the battle to save the children of the Sudan. Movies like this are made to bring attention to the atrocities that take place and it is effective. The viewer of this movie can look at it as propaganda, inspiring or something that can make them re-examine what is important in life.
Not for everyone predictable with a basic plot and somewhat long. I see a very narrow audience enjoying this film but all that watch it will think.
