Review of Machete Kills (2013) by Ant S — 22 Oct 2013
Sadly not as good as the previous one. Fun violence and nods to the previous film are in it but the plot is just non-existent and doesn't have the same spark and enjoyment that the first one had. The actual film is totally ruined by the pseudo trailer at the beginning that tells you of Machete's next adventure and, even though it looks totally batshit insane it transpires that this is where the 3rd instalment will take us.
Disappointing.
