Another Robert Rodriguez exploitation film featuring top name actors and exaggerated action. Before the actual movie begins there is a trailer for the sequel, Machete Kills Again: in Space. It's what you would expect from a Rodriguez flim, unrealistic/unique ways to kill people, same actors/props from previous films, and Spanish language/Mexican locations.

Lady Gaga is featured in the film, but her entire screen time was the scenes from her promo trailer. By the way, Carlos Està (C)vez is Charlie Sheen's real name.
