Like the first Machete, Machete Kills is based on loads of gore gags, inventive weaponry and first class cast. Many critics tried to follow the plot but as Rodriguez doesn't really cares why should we?
It's incredibly silly from start to finish, and that's the point.
Only the idea of having Charlie Sheen (Carlos Estevez) playing the president of the US is enough to justify watching the movie!
