Review of Machete Kills (2013) by Daxton M — 28 Oct 2013

Ok so Machete Kills is the sequel to Machete, written and directed by the master of grindhouse films Robert Rodriguez. Machete Kills stars Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Cuba Gooding Jr, Antonio Banderas, Lady Gaga, and many other familiar faces.

Im not going to get into the plot of this film due to the fact that it is a Robert Rodriguez film and if you have seen the original Machete then you know what to expect. This film is not as good as its predecessor but nonetheless there is fun to be had in this movie.

Now when watching a Robert Rodriquez film there always has to be two things .Over the top gore and violence, and drop dead gorgeous women, and Machete Kills has plenty of both. As far as my recommendation I cant say for sure wether its a go or no.

If you are able to appreciate the badass feel that a grindhouse style film has to it then this is a definite go. If you are like most people reading this and dont even know what Grindhouse is then skip this one.

Anyways Im going to see the next installment of the series which has already been confirmed. Machete Kills again... In Space.
