Machete was a wild and fun over-the-top ride that has a lot of action, a very strong cast, and a pretty decent story. Danny Trejo was very good here as Machete. It's hard to believe he is as old as he is.
It was cool seeing Steven Seagal as the bad guy here and Robert DeNiro was funny as the senator. Alba, Rodriguez, and even Lohan all provided some nice eye candy to the movie. I liked how the story dealt a lot with immigration and the different sides to the issue, although it was somewhat slanted against the people wanting to keep immigrants out.
