Review of Machete (2010) by Captainxbumout — 06 Sep 2010
This movie is great. It features great performances from Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Robert De Niro, Jeff Fahey and many others. Many people bad mouthing this movie are forgetting that fact that it's a grindhouse movie.
It's meant to be funny and feature over the top gore with ridiculous scenes. My only gripe with this movie is that although there is a good amount of action, It's not near the amount it should have considering it's a grindhouse movie.
This is a great all around movie and Robert Rodriguez has stated that he's had this plot in mind way before the whole immigration laws started happening.
