Review of Machete (2010) by Max M — 17 Oct 2013
Based upon the fake trailer from the Grindhouse flicks and was actually before the movie Planet Terror started. Now Machete has it's feature length movie, and I have to admit I had a fun time with this Movie it was just like what Robert Rodriguez did with his previous Grindhouse flick Planet Terror while instead of zombies and a one machine gun legged stripper Machete is like the old school revenge action flicks which is basically what Machete is and the plot of the film is basically about a ex Mexican federale named Machete played by the badass Danny Trejo who is after Torez and his cartel which Torez is played by action star Steven Seagal which is cool to see him back into a theatrical movie instead of those straight to video movies he always does, and so Machete is after him because of the killing of his wife and his daughter and so then we get to see Michelle Rodriguez as a taco stand worker and trying to help her people etc.
Overall Machete is a fun action packed good time that delivers it all and also it was really interesting to see some of the actors who were involved with the flick especially Robert De Niro as a politician who tries to have a electric fence, and especially seeing Lindsay Lohan as what was her "comeback" and see dressed as a nun with as gun and undressed as well, but I like I just earlier Machete is what it is and it's a very fun action packed movie and I forgot to mention about what also made Machete lots of fun was the one liners that Machete used in it were used well.
