Review of MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday (1994) by Sid R — 24 Jan 2017
An interesting TV movie to quench the thirst of MacGyver fans after the series ended in 1992. It does have a low-budget TV movie feel and the pace is slow compared to the original series. With some scenes being slap-stick.
The strangest omission is that Mac never uses his signature Swiss Army knife during the proceedings, and relies only on his wits. Which at most points aren't explained, not even with breaking-the-third-wall narrative.
