Why oh why do I do it to myself! This film was almost funny but not quite. I don't know the original SNL character that this was based on but I was a big fan of McGyver and could see the comedic possibilities of that formula.
Even the pressence of Val Kilmer wasn't enough to save this film from the toilet. Normally he is very funny in this kind of stuff but he just looks awkward and uncomfortable.
It gets one star becuse I almost laughed at the gunmens reaction to the celery, and the changes of music on the car radio. Awful, boring, unfunny, unpleasant.
