MacGruber is your typical moderately successfully Saturday Night Live sketch that gets turned into a predictable big budget Hollywood movie. Its really cliche, and a lot of the movie is lazy and unfunny.
However, there are a few scenes that are actually so hysterically funny that I laughed out loud. There are worse ways to waste your time.
