Review of MacGruber (2010) by Nikki K — 25 Oct 2010

So I didn't have really high expectations for this SNL spinoff. It was surprisingly much funnier then I thought and I laughed out loud multiple times while watching this all alone. It is very stupid most of the time and even though some jokes fall totally flat, enough jokes work to make the film entertaining.

Will Forte does a really good job as MacGruber and is very funny in the film. The rest of the cast is pretty solid as well; the whole villian character, played by Val Kilmer was pretty bad and pointless, but it's not a real quality film.

Overall a pretty funny and entertaining film that was much better then I really expected it to be, but remember it's a film that you have to be in the mood for a stupid comedy.
