This adaptation is not for the casual Shakespeare viewer. If you intend to watch the film, read a plot summary first. I see that several reviewers thought well of the score, but I did not. It did not add to the telling of the story.
Although the castle scenes were grand (but not realistic) and the tent scenes were thought provoking, I also think that this adaptation strayed too far from the Bard's settings. After all, the witches were supposed to be in a cave, not out in the open in the dreary and stormy weather.
I was disappointed.
