Visually impressive, which is refreshing compared to most other Shakespeare film adaptations I've seen before. However, the producers still insisted on using the old English text of the original play, which is fine, but it does make it difficult to understand and become as engaged as I should probably be.
Despite this, all of the acting was extremely well done, so it was still more engaging than your typical Shakespeare adaptation. I would recommend this to anyone who is mildy interested in seeing a pretty gritty take on Macbeth.
