Thoroughly Modern Millie was batshit insane. George Roy Hill was obviously under some influence when he made this.

Black Sabbath was one of the better Mario Bava movies I've seen.

Demons 2 was awful. How could you follow the ass-kicking gore-fest with ninjas on motorcyle original with this lame sequel? Meh.

In the vein of the Bavas, I've also seen Lamberto's Macabre, one of his first movies. It's about a psycho bitch who keeps the frozen head of her dead lover in her fridge and she has sex with it. Throw in some Freudian competition between the psycho bitch and her (arguably) even more psycho bitch daughter, and you've got a movie. It's boring as fuck though.

I was surprised by the quality of the acting in The Fly. The chemistry between Geena Davis and the always great Jeff Goldblum makes this film work every bit as much as the gore.
