Review of M3GAN (2022) by Viltris — 09 Jan 2023

I went in expecting a mindless fun slasher horror. Instead, I got a character drama with horror elements and a dash of comedy, that brings up themes of dependence on technology (which I can relate to) and parenthood (which I can't). The only downside is that the movie sticks to a lot of Hollywood cliches, both in terms of the depiction of engineers and in terms of horror tropes.

Still worth watching though. With a runtime of 102 minutes, it's refreshingly short compared to a lot of the epic-length 2.5+ hour movies we've been getting recently.
