Review of M (1931) by Jen M — 05 Jun 2008
This movie is amazing. As Fritz Lang's first step out of the silent film era, it uses sound to hint at things unseen and things to come while creative and vivid images remain to portray tension and fear.
The story itself juxtaposes the efforts of the police and the efforts of the criminal underworld to track down the killer, culminating in a trial by peers in the truest sense.
