Review of M (1931) by Erin B — 03 Nov 2008
For Fritz Lang's first "talkie" he is so far ahead of his time with the audio, even if some sound effects are missing, who cares? Sound plays a major role in the film. The opening scene breaks my heart.
I like the negative portrayal of the police...but in the end, we can't say who's the bad guy.
