Review of M (1931) by Liam K — 15 May 2010
Amazing for '31. Reminded me a lot of 'Zodiac' and 'Memories of Murder,' and this came a solid SEVENTY years before them. Makes a lot of good points about pedophilia, public hysteria, hell, it covers a lot of frigging bases and takes a lot of stances for such a film.
This is the kind of film that people say 'watch because it's influential' and 'it's part of film history,' but I'd recommend it purely on the basis of entertainment.
