Review of M (1931) by Nandi C — 04 Apr 2012
Very impressive movie; the first time I saw it was at night, and it was a bit frightning to watch then. Anyhow, Peter Lorre made his debut as a child murderer in Berlin; Of course, the folks are a bit on edge because little kids are being killed, so the police, who haven't been real good in finding this killer, is joined by the underworld including the Nazis, who weren't in power yet, and they become successful in getting the villian; When asked why he would do this, just hearing him express himself makes you feel some pity for him.
important piece of film history.
