A bit too similar to the superior "American Beauty" and "The Ice Storm", "Lymelife", nevertheless benefits from solid performances from the cast, especially Rory Culkin.
It is the late 1970's on Long Island. Rory Culkin is a young man trying to deal with his rich, promiscuous father, stressed and fragile mother, and the girl he has had a crush on since childhood.
