Review of Lymelife (2008) by Lauren F — 15 Feb 2010
A decent film about dysfunctional families & teen relationships. Rory Culkin definitely inherited his brother Maculay's acting talent! His crying scene in the bathroom was incredible! Emma Roberts has become a great actress as well.
It was nice to see her play a darker character. The sex scene between Scott & Adrianna has to be one of the most awkward ever but it's very realistic how uncomfortable the first time can be for teenagers.
The swearing was a bit over the top & the story could be confusing, I didn't understand what the plastic houses & people meant. And the ending was strange, but a good film overall.
