A fascinating life, a story taken from an engrossing book...and they had to cast kirk douglas and anthony quinn in it. Still the colours, the scenary (sic) and the fact that it is about Van Gogh saves it.
(recommend: watch Vincent And Me, an absol quaint film about a young girl and Van Gogh...i believe it is on World Movies channel in India).
