Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by Erick P — 21 Jul 2008
The plot is quite difficult to believe in this day and age and that's what kept me from enjoying this film. It's hard to believe that a young group of college students would risk their lives to assassinate a Japanese collaborator without any good plans or real justification behind what they were doing.
After awhile, I grew tired of this bumbling cadre and was more interested in the interactions between the two main characters. Cinematography and erotic scenes were filmed quite well, but it wasn't enough to keep me interested in this cast or their fate.
