Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by Jessica R — 27 Aug 2008
I didn't really don't know what to think about this movie. I was already weary since most of the buzz was about the nudity than anything else. The film starts off tepid with slow development then has a brutal scene that I thought might lead to great character and plot movement, but it still kind of stalled.
Tony Leung is great again, but the lead lady was very stoic, and I don't know if that was the direction, but it didn't engage me and that left the significant relationship portion of the movie a little flat.
