Lust, Caution was made into a full-length feature from a teeny, tiny story. Gorgeous period costumes. Although explicit, the very heavy sexual tension between the love triangle of younger man, girl, and older man is intense, as is the extremely intense sex scenes between Leung's character and Joan Chen's.
But it's all interpretive of art, and the rising intensity of the lust and love in the movie.
