Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by Sarah I — 09 Mar 2009
A beautiful film from Ang Lee about love, revenge and sacrifice. I couldn't believe that the lead, Tang Wei, is a newcomer -- she was terrific! The film clocks in at almost 3 hours and is slow paced so obviously not for everyone, and besides -- it contains very explicit sex scenes and doesn't end Hollywood style.
It's a wonderful film which I deeply recommend.
