Beautifully crafted by Lee with strong performances from Leung and Wei. Cinematograhy, editing, art direction, music, costumes are some of great combinations to a well made film. Well adapted screenplay by Wang and Schamus.
I was surprised this story is actually NC-17 before I saw it. When I saw how Lee filmed the explicit sex scenes I can understand why, however still well staged by Leung and Wei.
