Watched the original version and found out that Singapore version was greatly censored... Maybe it didn't need that many of those scenes. However it explains how intense their relationship was in the first place, and of course her role was to seduce the guy.

Then all that goes into this nice scene of connecting their soul at the Japanese ryotei. And their conversation: "Am I becoming your prostitute?" "I know how it feels like to be a prostitute more than you do.
