Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by Daisy M — 15 Jun 2010
Lust, Caution was another success for director Ang Lee,who directed this tale of romance and seduction between an older man and his mistress within Japanese occupied China. It showed a group of Chinese university students, who intended to kill a minister of the government using an attractive young woman to take him into a trap.
The erotic scenes between Tony Leung and Tang Wei were so memorable, and she played the part as the enemy's mistress so well. This movie was definitely a masterpiece, including the plot, the music score, the actor and actress, and the sex scenes, which were absolutely necessary to the story.
This was a flawless movie that was carefully filmed, with attention to every detail.
