Review of Lucy (2014) by Meredith W — 24 Feb 2016

Lucy (Scarlett Johansson) is tricked by her drug dealing boyfriend of one week into delivering a suitcase to a suspicious looking gang in matching suits. He is promptly shot and they kidnap her and insert a drug bag inside her lower stomach to traffic to America.

The bag leaks, expanding her mind to access the parts humans (supposedly) can't reach. This starts off fine but sons ventures into the ridiculous with Lucy being able to read minds, abuse gravity and time.

"Lucy" could have been great action sci-fi but as it doesn't seem to know what it wants to be, it ultimately falls flat.
