Beautifully filmed in Brazil, this story never really grows past a Menage e trois character study. The love triangle exists between a prostitute and two childhood buddies who now shift between the worlds of crime, boxing and legitimate river cargo ships.
They both fall for the girl which puts their friendship at odds. In the end we're left wondering what will happen to these three as nothing really changes in their lives. Karrina is pregnant and clearly loves both men, but a resolution is never offered.
