Did Vincent kill himself or did somebody else kill him?
What the 65000 oil painted frames told us is that depression can kill poor souls who see pureness in death-a cathartic release from the melancholia of living.
Animation-wise, it isn't new. Although a different medium was used, I find it similar to the animated adaptation of Kafka's 'A Country Doctor' but less eccentric.
