Didn't feel any real chemistry between the two leads. Which is a problem in a love story.
It plods along at a pedestrian pace, and then slows down to an almost complete stop, before slowly coming back to life.
Well meaning, and in theory an interesting subject, but just doesn't quite hit the mark for me.
Ruth Negga is extremely watchable though, and I expect a lot more from her in the future. She's one to watch, unfortunately, not so sure about the movie though.
