Very well done for a very interesting story. Nothing over the top, but worth the watch. It moves stuff quickly at points, but nothing that will get you lost. Ruth Negga was really good. Edgerton was not bad either and I would think both will get serious considerations for Best Actor come award season.

I think the movie tries to make a connection to the issue of same-sex marriage, but I think it does a great job in telling this important story in American History.
