Review of Love's Labour's Lost (2000) by Bill A — 09 Jan 2010
Not as good as his others but he obviously tried to make the comedy more appealing to a wider audience by filling it with song and dance and skipping all around the text. But he did everything that he was supposed to do.
He used the text and brought life to it, it's just an odd life. I feel that Matthew Lillard and Alicia Silverstone were miscast and none of the singing is above par but Adrian Lester's dance number, Nathan Lane's comedic timing and the final scenes were excellent.
