As indicated by the title, "Lovers of the Arctic Circle" is a precious love story that moves the viewer in a way unlike most other romantic films. Medem creates a captivating story through powerful images and by telling the story from each lover's point of view.
The film deals heavily with the ideas of eternal love, full circles, fate and coincidence. An absolute gem of Spanish cinema.
