Many might say that this film is conceited or trite. To me, conventionality aside, this is as real a film as any. The characters may be revolting and conforming at first glance on the outset. The plot might be established and the the soundtrack may be dated.

However, the directoral focus which is brought to these elements, especially at the close is of a caliber which speaks an inalienable truth.
