Oh dear, this hasn't aged well. Ryan O'Neal manages to give a believable performance despite the stilted dialogue but Ali MacGraw is as wooden as she is beautiful. The theme music is also beautiful but the rest of the soundtrack is somewhat odd.
Disappointed as I had hoped to love this one. Some nice moments here and there, especially as the story unfolds but the first half is just awful.
