Weepy tear jerker that captivated movie audiences in 1970. The film is pretty well written and very well acted, though it is mostly definitely overly sentimental as well.
Ryan O'Neal and Ali MacGraw meet while attending college. They fall in love and get married, but the tragedies that life can offer catch up with them.
