Director Joel Edgerton gives us a compelling look at what goes on inside a conversion therapy program for gays. Lucas Hedges keeps proving himself a great young actor. Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe as his parents are also strong.
The film's message is obvious, but the relationships between the family works very well.
