This is a very light and easy teenage film for everyone. It's very relatable that everyone has secrets we try to hide, due to it's not the current social norm. And being blackmailed by someone who knows your secret, it's very surreal and depressing. It's not just another gay movie, but it uses a cute light way to express the fact being gay is not so easy on a teenager!

It's very fast and well developed story with a typical cheesy and fairytale ending. I personally like cheesy high school story, maybe because when I was in high school life wasn't so easy. Therefore, I would love to see more of this kind of films out, just because I personally believe that it will make the world a better place????.

Great acting, especially for the character Martin who is played by Logan Miller. You first hate him, then you fall in love with him, again you hate him for exactly who he is, and like him again. For the entire film, he stands out to me in a good surprising way! Very talented actor. And of course the rest of the cast did a solid job on acting.

Also great screen play by Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker and Becky Albertalli. The writing is very in depth of what is going on with different teenagers' internal struggles and desires. Each every teen have their own thing going on, and everyone try to get what they deserve, a love story. But the fact that Simon is into boys made the whole story a lot more complicated. But when everyone knows Simon is gay, the relationship began to change, I like to call it the ripple effect, with his family, female friends, male friends, principles. This is exactly why it's such a pressure for a teen to come out!! Very well carried out, sensitive with a lot of love. The themes, "Love, Simon", is an epitome of great writing. I can't recall exactly how many times it appears, maybe 4. Each time is expressed very differently: the 1st time, he accidentally type "love, Simon" to his online lover..... all the way to the last time, with all his courage to write that public not, that he will wait for him at the Ferris wheel. Each time the theme shows up with development, and each time the theme elevated the storyline! As an audience, this create such climax and dynamic to the motion picture. It's a textbook example of how a great writing should be!

I don't think this movie try to normalize being gay, but to help people maybe still in the closet and afraid of to love and being love at the same time! Life is not easy, and love is definitely not easy either. Hopefully it will give some courage for people to just being who they are!

I love the value this movie sends out to the adults in the situations. The supportive of the family and the principal, especially the principal, he is like an unicorn ?? that doesn't exist in real life. At least not my high school principal. Everyone was very supportive and caring. The reaction of the dad was really touching, and the mom was really mature and soothing that she believe Simon can handle his own secret. Simon was lucky that the adults around him, loves him and cares for him. To the rest of us, not so much! Maybe after this movie, more parents and teachers can truly understand what a kid needs, love and support!

This is movie didn't use too much technology, which I love! A good movie should be captivating through the story, writing, acting and directing, just like any good classic film. In my opinion, "Love, Simon" can be an instant classic movie that we love and love to watch over and over again!
