Their's only one phrase that can describe this movie and that's "An empowering piece of LGBT Cinema". Knowing what it's like growing up in high school as a member of the LGBT community, I was expecting to see the same old portray of what people seem to think it's like to be gay in high school.
Love Simon is probably the first film I've seen that's been able to tackle that correctly, so hat's off to you there. Love Simon has also achieved the hard to achieve task of keeping a LGBT-Teen movie engaging.
