Review of Love Me Still (2008) by Michael D — 28 Sep 2013
The riffraff and scum of the British Empire examined in a roguish manner in this peasants delight. Drugs, rape kidnapping and other niceties are finely acted in the common mans way, giving a brash movie that is hauntingly desperate.
Photography, lighting and sound are in the same theme and very well done bringing a gray tableau of despondency. If you are depressed before watching this film, lock away the drugs and swallow the key, by the time it comes out, you should be cheerful again.
Nibbles: Phish Food Ice Cream.
