Review of Love Is Strange (2014) by Nrnsw — 21 Aug 2015

I wanted to like this film, but struggled with it the whole way through. It wasn't bad performances - they were all fair to good. What the film lacked was clear direction, and was plagued with continuity problems (watch the black metronome on the piano during the lesson).

Because of poor direction, the actors were all pouring themselves glasses of water and talking their lines. It's a shame, because the film had so much potential.
