Review of Love Is All You Need? (2011) by Tony P — 01 May 2013
Disappointing. Are critics so bored with seeing the same type of films that anything vaguely different seems better? Danish Oscar winner Director Susanne Bier has done much better films and Pierce Brosnan can't improve it.
As often in her films, the main theme in this dramatic comedy is the exploration of two very different people who are equally hurt by life and get to know each other. Unfortunately the characters are not developed enough and their relationship doesn't look very real.
Many of the jokes don't really work. It's a miss but still better than Mama mia...
