Review of Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) by Mahar M — 05 Aug 2008
I'm sure the book is much better, but the film was well done. It's hard to go wrong with Javier Bardem, who is as spooky as ever in this one. Great minor performances by John Leguizammo and Benjamin Bratt in particular.
Starts out a little slow but picks up speed and a little humor. Makes me want to read the novel in more now, since I loved Garcia Marquez's 100 Years of Solitude so much.
